Welcome Line

When looking at your On The Day Signage, most Welcome Sign will include a greeting message. These are usually located at the top or along the side of the design.

Some ideas include:

• We can't wait to celebrate with you

• Yay, you're here

• Let's do this!

Couples Names

Traditionally the brides name will go before the grooms, or the child of the parents that are paying. However this is just tradition, not a rule! You can choose to have:

• First Names: Jessie and Dean
• First and Last Names: Jessie Smith and Dean Mitchell
• First and Middle Names: Jessie May and Dean John
• Full Names: Jessie May Smith and Dean John Mitchell

Wedding Date

The date of your wedding is one of the most important details you will need too include. We do have standard ways to write your date depending on the design that you have chosen. However you may wish to change this due to personal preference. Please make sure you make this request clear on your order.

Some options Include:

• Words Only: Sunday the first of October, Twenty Twenty Three
• Mixture of Numbers and Words:  Saturday 1 October, 2023
• Numbers Only: 01.10.23

Times + Venues

It is important to be clear and precise with how you write your time and venue location, we do not want Nanna to get lost! Be sure to include all the venue address details as some venues have entrances on a different streets or have many rooms across different floors of the venue.

Time options include:

• Numbers Only: 2pm
• Numbers and Words: 2 o'clock in the afternoon
• Words Only: At two o'clock in the afternoon

Dress Code

At the bottom of your invitation you might like to include a dress code for your wedding, this will help guide your gut to an appropriate outfit choice.

RSVP

People often forget to tell the bride and groom if they are coming to the wedding. An RSVP Card eliminates this by having a tangible object they need to return to you.

• Will cheers from afar

• Sadly cannot make it

If you don't have a separate RSVP card, are collecting RSVP's via email or have a wedding website, you can include these details at the bottom of your invitation if there aren't too many words.

Gifts

There are many ways that you may choose to accepts gifts for your wedding.

The most popular options and wording are:
• Wishing Well - "Your presence is the greatest gift of all, however, should you wish to celebrate with a gift a wishing well will be available on the night"
• Gift Registry - "Your presence is the greatest gift of all, however, should you wish to celebrate with a gift we have setup a registry with ...."
•  Charity Donation - "In lieu of gifts we ask that you donate to the Cancer Council"
• No Gifts - "We kindly request no gifts"
